At Gloucester Cheer & Dance Academy, our Beginner Cheer programme is the perfect introduction to cheerleading for children who want to learn in a relaxed, supportive, and fun environment. Where and When Are Classes Held?

We offer beginner cheerleading classes in three convenient locations across Gloucestershire, making it easy for families to find a class near them. These sessions are designed for children who are new to cheerleading, tumbling, or gymnastics and are a great way to build coordination, confidence, and flexibility in a fun and friendly environment.

Children learn the core elements of cheerleading, including stunts, tumbling, jumps, and dance, while progressing through our unique award-based syllabus, earning certificates as they master each stage.

Class Locations & Times

• Gloucester (Ages 3–11)
  🕔 Thursdays, 5:00–5:45 PM
• Tewkesbury (Ages 5–11)
  🕘 Saturdays, 9:00–9:45 AM
• Dursley (Ages 3–11)
  🕔 Tuesdays
  – Tumbling: 4:45–5:30 PM
  – Cheerleading: 5:30–6:15 PM

All beginner classes are led by our qualified coaching team and take place in fully equipped venues, offering a safe and inclusive environment for every child.
